Two Heads

Greg and Aimee have a contentious relationship. Rather than discussing, each is trying to convince and make a case for their position. This sets the stage for a winner and a loser; if neither makes their case, the relationship loses.

The purpose of discussions is to enable partners to share their perspectives. You hear your partner’s point of view, may see your own more clearly, and ultimately make a joint decision that benefits the individual, the relationship, or the family. We want couples to have respectful, robust discussions since two heads are better than one.
