No Recourse to Clarity

I was now meeting with Paul and Jessica every 3 months and in their last session, Paul was reflecting on what they were doing differently. When they started couples counseling, they were fighting constantly. A conversation would escalate, and they had no recourse to get out of it.

He talked about the skills they learned in couples counseling, and how they now had the clarity to prevent or get out of their conflicts. He was proud of their ability to move from a state of no recourse to clarity.
