I usually think of integrity as fidelity in a committed relationship. However, one of my clients discussed having “integrity in your words.” I liked the concept. Words have the power to inflict pain and potentially diminish a partner’s well-being, but they can also uplift and support. 

Integrity in your words, suggests that one is conscientious of their language. One’s words can then match one’s adoration for a loved one.
