Caroline yearns to share with her husband Rob—her struggles with her mother, transitions in friendships, and worries in general. Her husband Rob, who works as an engineer, isn’t emotionally there for her and is baffled how to support her.
Caroline shared a recent story with their three-year-old daughter Ava. Ava was balling about not getting a pink cup that she was desiring. Caroline gave Ava a hug and said, “It must be so hard not getting what you want.”
Caroline was compassionate to her three-year old’s pain and longed for that kind of support from Rob. Our work was to teach him how to be there for Caroline.
